Born to an Iranian, Muslim father and an American, Christian mother in Las Vegas, Nevada, Josh has a passion for enabling people from different faith traditions to learn about one another and to serve together, not as an attempt to water down his Christian faith but to put it into practice as a peacemaker. Josh has served as Associate Pastor at Northwood Church in Keller, Texas. He also serves as the President of All Nations Education, an organization that helps young adults go to college in the developing world. As a teaching fellow, Josh taught leadership, community organizing and the role of story in social movements at the Harvard Kennedy School. He graduated cum laude from Westmont College with a BA in Philosophy and from Harvard University with a Master of Theological Studies in comparative religion.
